The Type W basket strainer is a particularly economical dirt trap for industrial applications. As a high-performance basket strainer, it stands out due to its unique installation flexibility: depending on requirements, the filter can be installed horizontally or vertically, allowing optimal integration into both new and existing piping systems.
A key feature of this basket strainer is the high-quality wedge wire screen, which is arranged in the direction of flow. This design ensures an exceptionally low pressure drop and high plant availability.
